Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology better known as NMIT is situated in the sunniest region of New Zealand. Campus & Student Life

Nelson Campus:

The learners at NMIT receive access to on-campus parking, sports courts, and the student cafe. NMIT’s student support team can help book accommodation and childcare. Everyone is welcome to make an appointment at the hair and beauty salons or enjoy a delicious meal at the Rata Room restaurant on NMIT’s Nelson campus.

Marlborough campus:

About 20 minutes walk from Blenheim city center, our attractive Marlborough Campus offers Viticulture, Aviation and other programs that support the local industry. Library (Marlborough students can also access the resources and services available at the Library Learning Centre on Nelson campus)
NMIT’s Marlborough campus offers world-class facilities and pleasant green spaces. Facilities are available for hire anytime except when timetabled for use by NMIT staff or students. Plenty of rooms are available for students to use all of the rooms contain: Chairs, tables, whiteboard, PC, data projector, screen, audio & internet accessibility,
some rooms have Apple TV available for wireless projection direct from your Apple device.

Accommodation

If the students are feeling independent then they can join an established flat or live with a local Nelson family. NMIT’s accommodation notice board in the Student Centre is where you will find other students advertising for a flatmate, local people advertising a room for a boarder and other local accommodation opportunities.
