About University of Wales Trinity Saint David

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David was formed after the merger of the two universities namely University of Wales, Lampeter and Trinity University College which later merged with Trinity Saint David around 2010 and in 2013 University of Wales merged with Swansea Metropolitan University.
 


 

Campus

University of Wales Trinity Saint David is a multi-campus university with three main campuses in South West Wales, in Carmarthen, Lampeter and Swansea, a fourth campus in London, England, and learning centres in Cardiff, Wales, and Birmingham, England.
 

Student Life

The student union can be found in the three main campuses of University of Wales Trinity Saint David. There are sport halls where a number of sporting activities can be learnt & taught so that the students can develop in their extra-curricular activities. Academically, University of Wales Trinity Saint David has always been one of the top rank universities. The atmosphere at the university is warm, welcoming and enjoyable. Special unit is maintained for international students so that they don’t feel like an outsider.
 

Accommodation

The accommodation for students is provided at all three of their main campuses so it can be a home away from home. All rooms in halls of residence come fully furnished, the fixtures and fittings include a bed with mattress, desk and chair, hand wash basin, mirror, wardrobe, shelving, and bedside cabinet.You will be required to complete a room inventory upon your arrival. So, the university provides the students with the basic necessities and they’re free to live on or off-campus as per their choice of accommodation. Staying on-campus is affordable. Every bedroom in halls of residence will have access to a free wireless internet connection.Regular bus services run between the accommodation sites and city. Bus timetables are provided to students on arrival into halls of residence.
