About:
Unitec Institute of Technology was founded as Carrington Technical Institute in 1976. It name was later changed to Carrington Polytechnic in 1987 and then in 1994, it was changed to Unitec Institute of Technology. It is the largest institute of technology in Auckland and is also a member of International Association of Universities. Unitec has a wide range of over 128 courses to teach from which may be short term courses to Master’s degree. The Institute emphasizes a lot on practical knowledge as much as on the theory.
